Ninja! I Want To Do Me!

Sometimes I wonder if I’m living a dream or a movie.
I have a passport with three different country’s stamps.
I’m getting my forth one this year.
My world went from being a ninja from New Orleans to a man seeing the world.
I stay stepping out of my comfort zone because I want to see, experience, and learn more.
I don’t want to get comfortable.
I don’t want to be complacent.
I want my world to be forever changing and always amazing.
I’m tired of seeing cool places and things in movies.
I want to see them for myself.
I don’t want a normal life.
That rat race will drive me crazy.
I want no borders or boundaries.
Ninja! I want to do me.

The world we live in is always changing around us every year, month, week, and day. Yet, people don’t want to change or reinvent themselves so they can be better. They don’t want to let go of their comfort zone. Holding on to old things can keep you from progressing to the next level in your life and/or career. It can be better for you to embrace the unknown because sometimes what we know, can cause more harm to us. Try each day or once a week doing something outside your comfort zone. Start small and work your way up. A simple waving or saying hello to a stranger can be a good start.

Blackanese

Blackanese in the Urban Dictionary it is defined as “an individual of both African and Asian descent”.  I have a project that I want to work on and I want some feedback from you on what you think of it. I want to produce and publish a photo book with images of half black and half Japanese descent people who are here in Japan. It will be comprised of 50 pages front and back of Blackanese people from Japan. I want to  do this because not everyone from my home city, New Orleans or the United States, can get a chance to visit Japan and see that African-Americans has people over here too. I want this to be a piece of art work that captures the beauty of two cultures from different sides of the world coming together to create beautiful children.

I have a few friends who likes to do photography and I will ask them to come along with me to do the photos. I’ll handle the designing and interviewing the people. I need some ideas on how can I send out a message to the Tokyo area?
